O For a Thousand Tongues to Sing- (Crowder)

So enough is enough, I've finally committed to sharing our Saturday evening worship sets as well...this is week 2 of attempting to introduce click track worship loops...it seemed to work well for our walk-in song...Josh did a great job finding a great "That's My King" video to act as the call to worship- which really introduced the theme of the night- again, moments I wish we could claim we had planned, but just goes to show how great God is at working in all our hearts separately in our planning...

"Sing Sing Sing" brought some great energy that carried into "Forever Reign" nicely...which I'm so glad we didn't use the loop track so right before the bridge we could toss out this verse:

"My dear children, let's not just talk about love; let's practice real love. This is the only way we'll know we're living truly, living in God's reality. It's also the way to shut down debilitating self-criticism, even when there is something to it. For God is greater than our worried hearts and knows more about us than we do ourselves." (1 John 3:19-20 The Message)

Then when it came to singing the words "My heart will sing, no other name...Jesus, Jesus"...it was our cry for God to show His greatness and make that a true reality in our lives...

Evan did an amazing job leading "Sweetly Broken" and "Jesus Paid it All"...transitioning them well...ending with "O For a Thousand Tongues" was the right choice as a Pastor Collin suggestion after seeing how well it worked last week during the Sunday services...
